The Not Just a Book Series, is written in an authentic voice based on the premise that each of us has one or several stories to share that with similarity can connect us to one another on a global scale. Grew up in a home where the written word was powerful and a Mother who would read to us with passion, inflection and intention in her tone. Understanding the power and meaning words represent, stories can offer joy, or highlight deeper levels of understanding through nuanced depictions. My commitment is to positively contribute to the conversation to ignite a gentle ripple in this world while remaining accessible, vulnerable in pursuit of becoming an aspirational adult.
